In 2025, Marine Le Pen, who was elected president of the republic a few years earlier, finally throws in the towel. Etienne, a national air conditioning executive, loses his job and hangs out in cafe's. He crosses the path of Montaigne, a philosopher, who leads a life of marginal assumed.
