Another skyscraper is rising to rip São Paulo's skyline. To do that, it has to buy Vitrola, an old vinyl album store that belongs to ELPÍDIO, a retired old grouch who lives for this shop. It would be easy to refuse the offers of the neoclassic Jardin de Tullieries building if ELPÍDIO wasn't totally bankrupt and also responsible for the income of his daughter ELISE and his grandson GABRIEL. While trying to escape this trap, ELPÍDIO ends up on a TV stage, where his musical knowledge will be tested. The immersion into a reality completely different from his own will make ELPÍDIO change his way of seeing the world, reassessing his relationship with his daughter and his grandson, as well as lead him to find room for love amidst so much vinyl, memories and dust.
