- rajmoonlightApril 10, 2025As Valerie bleeds her very first period, she bears witness to the archetypes of women around her. The maiden, the mother, the crone, the seductress, the witch, the virgin. As she begins to “blossom” it is not her who changes. It is the world around her and those in it who change. Men become beasts and she is suddenly aware of men’s desire of her, as well as the sudden need to keep herself safe. The world has forever changed. And each woman in her archetype is mourning the loss of the woman she used to be. The archetype she used to fit in to. Soft girl aesthetic is charming. Ending is unusual.
