Universal Language Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Quirky, off-beat absurdist drama that follows multiple intersecting storylines all centered in a fictional version of Winnipeg where the primary language is Farsi. The framing and muted color pallet (among many other elements) all feel very Wes Anderson coded. It took little while to really get invested into the various story lines, but when they did start to all come together, I found myself rather delighted by this eccentric little film. Worth checking out.
