Ulysses Ratings & Reviews
- Tom BennettJanuary 28, 2026As I have seen in other reviews that this movie is a ‘guilty pleasure’ and I have to agree. It was made in 1957 and the special effects were still not terrible surprisingly. It’s the story and Kirk Douglas‘s magnetic personality that make this movie watchable. I watched the original Italian with subtitles and I have to say that the original language makes this movie a lot more authentic and dramatic rather than watching it dubbed. Great for a lazy Saturday afternoon or if you’re on a history/Greek mythology kick.
