With the theme of west Kelantan, Tumpat Berdarah tells the story of two lovebirds, Wan Zaki and Anis who have to defend their love even though their respective families are hostile. Enmity between these two families has erupted since the 1960s. Wan Zaki and Anis's desire to get married was destroyed when their families found out. Both families gathered in Tumpat, Kelantan for bloodshed. Before they fight, Wan Zaki's brother, Wan Nawi and Anis's brother, Nuari Benang Emas start the fight with an old traditional ritual called dikir barat.
