Tron Ratings & Reviews
- wonderrxjrOctober 7, 2025Good reminder that I am the god of my computer and not some fuckass AI program. I'm not excited to see bit in Tron: Ares that guy is so annoying. I'm so fucking scared for Friday (was gonna go Thursday but someone gave me concert tickets so I have an unused pair of tickets you're welcome Tron: Ares box office)
- JLEXMay 9, 2025Beyond time…
- Spaceman JoeMay 29, 2025Classic, obviously dated but still watchable. Kinda cool to see the old effects. I hope it gets more sequels after Tron Ares
- DdoughnutJanuary 7, 2026My favorite thing in this movie is the SEAMLESS transitions between the live action and video game world. That is because the video game world looks like monkey butt
- JoshscanonOctober 18, 2025A great classic.
- Really CoolSeptember 16, 2025Shit was crazy bros
- timothy7923November 17, 2025Fantastic
- FingersHouseJanuary 6, 2026Tron was a total shock to the system—visually groundbreaking, unapologetically digital, and so far ahead of its time that even a simple “GREETINGS PROGRAM!” felt like stepping into the future.
- BertSeptember 13, 2025Still my one of my favorite movies since I was a kid
- RichardAugust 29, 2025One the best films ever made.....
- flavo43January 4, 2026Tron is a groundbreaking science-fiction film that pushed the boundaries of what cinema could imagine and visualize. The story of Kevin Flynn being digitized and uploaded into the Grid, where he battles the oppressive Master Control Program on behalf of the Users, was wildly original for its time. The film’s world felt abstract yet logical, populated by unique characters and clear rules that made the computer realm feel alive. What truly set Tron apart was its pioneering use of early computer graphics combined with extensive practical effects. While primitive by today’s standards, the visuals were revolutionary in the early 1980s and demonstrated enormous creative ambition. The stylized design, glowing circuitry, and electronic landscapes created a look unlike anything audiences had seen before. Beyond its technical achievements, Tron launched a franchise and proved that stories set inside a digital world could be compelling, philosophical, and cinematic. It laid the groundwork for countless future films exploring virtual spaces, making it an influential and enduring sci-fi classic.
- Eldon McGuinnessNovember 3, 2025As someone that saw the movie early in life and has watched it numerous times over the years, this is one movie that just seems to shed its skin of fantasy little by little as parts of it that were purely fiction have slowly become reality, or at least very close. The story is simple, and the graphics which were once cutting edge are now dated, but both still stand the test of time in originality and beauty. If you're looking for a great Sci-Fi movie that will give you nostalgic vibes of old consoles, then take a seat and enjoy! The only bad thing that I have to say about this movie is it can be a little slow at times, but other than that, just brilliant.
- excal1bur87December 28, 2025It had a good story, and there were some deep metaphors comparing to today's time, but the special effects were definitely dated.
- runinhotOctober 30, 2025Hello young Jeff
- thomasrogers753October 12, 2025I really did enjoy this movie To me it’s one of those movies that doesn’t have to make total sense for you to enjoy and appreciate what it is The special effects give it a level of charm and iconicness that’s I absolutely love Next up is Legacy
