- M08Y23 de novembro de 2025Well that was a horrible experience for everyone. Age of Extinction is the kind of film that kills franchises. It was less of a step down from the previous entry and more like a jump from a tall building. Age of Extinction is a long, boring, soulless and visually painful experience. None of the characters are particularly interesting, the plot makes absolutely no sense and the film is genuinely really difficult to follow. These issues are made worse by the near 3 hour runtime. The main villain is completely underdeveloped and relies on lore and world building simply remains unexplained. Even immediately after watching the movie, I can't even tell you his name or what he wants. The CGI is another serious step-down from previous entries. The latter half of the film, the CGI is so bad that your eyes don't want to look at it anymore. Everything is completely weightless and looks rushed. Adding to my theory of being rushed is the "nanotech" transition effect for the Decepticons, it's incredibly ugly and lazy. Overall the 4K Bluray is fine. It is however a shame that the effects are so bad you actively don't want to watch it. Seriously guys, give this one a miss. There is nothing here for you.
