Four desperate women escape from a brutal and corrupt prison. A quirky old store keeper (Mickey Rooney), gets caught in their path and finds himself hostage to a dangerous but sexy pack of convicts. The only way out is the Everglades, fighting the law and sadistic drug dealers through uncharted swamps laden with alligators and poisonous snakes.
