Inspirational, heartwarming, and kind, Tom Green does it once again. Do yourself a favor and watch this and be thankful that humans like this still exist to give us hope for our future .

Tom's a good dude, and if you loved him back in his hay days, you'll appreciate this look back. It's always heartwarming to see someone rich and famous who isn't a soulless asshole hellbent on power/money/fame. As a kid who was a teen in the late 90s, I really enjoyed this documentary. Tom was a staple of my childhood, I loved his silly show, his antics and how he pushes the envelope like nobody else ever did. I absolutely called TRL to request The Bum Bum Song multiple times back then, lol... It's nostalgic to see him discuss and relive his career, but also amazing to see how he's grown up into an intelligent, articulate and decent human being. Not that he was a bad guy before, but he's past that sort of juvenile, stupid humor phase that we all went through at some point, and he's come out alright. His parents are featured throughout this film, and rightly so, as they were constantly unwilling characters on his show. He's willing to discuss the ups and the downs, the joy and the heartbreak, that we know because it was broadcast to us over the years. I had no idea how much his cancer hurt him, he always made jokes about it, made it light of it, and seemed so funny/silly, that I never got the impression he was in so much pain. It makes me sad to know what he went through, but happy to know he still came out OK.

Crude at times, many times, but a VERY interesting heartfelt look into a real pioneer of talk TV. Good Luck Tom!

Solid doc. Tom Green was a pioneer and he deserves a place in history. What a life. He started it all.

A self-directed retrospective of Tom Green’s career. The cultural zeitgeist that his show created when he landed on MTV was pretty wild. Pretty fun look back. This being self-directed I was expecting him to play with the form a bit perhaps Weird Al biopic style, but that wasn’t the case. It’s a pretty straight forward retrospective. You do see a lot of the seeds of where current internet culture may have been planted. Such a wildly irreverent character and cultural moment.

Just a damn good doc on Tom through his own eyes. The wild ride that was the show, and the wild fame that came and went all while he battled cancer. I always appreciated the spectacle and the experimental nature of TG, even though I find Tom and his tendency to be "always on" a bit off putting. It's a good watch. I forgot just how wild his popularity was back then. A good trip down memory lane.
