Here, the pensioner meets the doctor, the elementary school child meets the hip partygoer. Hajo inherited just such a shop in Frankfurt. He's standing here with Thorsten, the caretaker at the local elementary school, and Guido, who works for the garbage collection service. The three have known each other since childhood. And so, as usual, they're hanging out at the kiosk when one day a man in a suit comes by and puts 200 euros on the counter for a pack of chewing gum so he can use the customer restroom. There's a brief moment of annoyance at the snob, but he's quickly forgotten. Until Guido himself needs to use the restroom and finds a dead body. Chief Inspector Petra Krosowski from the homicide squad arrives with her team and reluctantly allows her younger colleague Leyla Aydin from the white-collar crime unit to join the investigation, as she seems to know the deceased banker. Once the police have left, the three friends discover a mysterious suitcase that the deceased had been carrying and which they had forgotten about in the heat of the moment, leaving it in the back of the kiosk. Naturally, they have to report it. But... perhaps this is one of those opportunities they've always missed? They decide to keep the suitcase and imagine how its contents could change their lives. However, opening the suitcase proves to be a real challenge. Furthermore, strange figures keep appearing, searching for it - and shortly afterward, a second body is found in the kiosk. Leyla Aydin is also determined to investigate the deceased and his mafia-like activities. And while Hajo, Guido, and Thorsten become increasingly complicit, what they believe is inside the suitcase becomes ever more valuable, and their dreams for the future grow ever larger.
