Positives: - The performances are undeniably great - The Action, Heist, and chase sequences are very intense and keep you on the edge of your seat - The cast is really stacked Mixed: - The characters are decent enough for this type of film but they are also very forgettable Negatives: - The movie can feel very formulaic, generic, and predictable at times - The entire movie I was literally saying to myself in my head I’ve seen this type of movie before - The romance is also very bland and forgettable and I personally felt no chemistry between Ben Affleck and Rebecca Hall Overall The Town is a good enough movie for this type of genre but it doesn’t feel different from any other film in this genre.
