- Kevin Ward1d agoOk, yeah, loved this. Completely love the look a the way it’s shot. Anyone heard of this one? 🙈 I have a screener for the upcoming film Chain Reactions screening at Seattle International Film Festival 2025. I started to watch it not realizing it was a somewhat of a retrospective of the impact of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I stopped watching and figured I’d better cross this one off The Shame List before I continue.
- AngusMcNutzJanuary 4, 2025No notes. You know what it is. We do, however, need to start remaking other Tobe Hooper films rather than Texas Chainsaw for the millionth time. Neon or A24 doing Spontaneous Combustion or Lifeforce lol
- jackmeatApril 23, 2025My quick rating - 8.0/10. Nice to see the classic remastered so it can be appreciated visually.
- Matthias_812April 4, 2025Hot summer days make me want to binge rewatch classic slashers with a lot of sun/heat. Not much gets uncomfortably sweaty than the OG, every revisit just makes me appreciate it more. Unhinged, grotesque, and depraved- it's no surprise The Texas Chain Saw Massacre was a product of the 70's. The decade in cinema was so raw and unforgiving, I miss movies like this.
