It started well but dragged on & on & on & on & on … the best bits were the out takes at the end and that it was the end…well almost. Chan fans knock yourself out otherwise forget it….I already have.
- Jason LaytonApril 13, 2026I liked it and bear in mind, this is a genre I do not generally enjoy. I found it slick, fast and full of gratifying little surprises throughout. The great attention to detail at the speed of the film was impressive and it overshadowed the cheesy bits which usually make me hate most martial arts/action flicks. It's a five star for what it is but for me, a five star action movie is a 3.5 movie at best.
- remiiMarch 2, 2026Curious Chinese take on the action flick of the 21st century. AI is there for the rescue and a normal NPC. Jackie Chan as a veteran facing a nemesis as senior with a glimpse of patriarchy. The film opposes two faces of grand-fatherhood. Which bears the questions : How about Parenting and Adulthood ? Nice action scenes overall that demonstrate that there is no need to pour gallons of blodd to make an impression.
