- Mister Arn18. mai 2025This is a movie I loved as a kid, but now it's lost its luster. I don't think the movie aged well. I found the romance story unbelievable and passionless.
- theLillyPad17. februar 2025One of my favorite movies in the genre, I'm one of the few who actually prefers The Sea Hawk to Captain Blood. The use of shadow makes this film feel dramatic and larger than life. The fight choreography is absolutely top-notch. Each scene is thrilling, adventurous, and--that's right I'm going to say it--"swashbuckling". Errol Flynn is at his best. He has enough experience of with these things to know what he's doing, but not so much that it feels phoned in. If you like Captain Blood--heck, if you like Pirates of the Caribbean--give this a try!
