The Rise of Officer Casey
Directed by Arthur HotalingCasey, a sleepy cop, is dogged by Harding, the Sergeant, who is a braggart. A desperate burglar has been operating in their district. The chief threatens to discharge the entire force unless the burglar is caught. Unable to make good Casey decides to commit suicide. So Harding has a chance to capture the Knight of the jimmy, but falters. Casey captures him, but at first doesn't really know how it happened. Harding is placed back in the ranks and Casey is promoted in his place.
