When two Kentucky brothers leave the hills of Eastern Kentucky for the glamour of Jazz Age casinos across the river from Cincinnati, they find work with infamous bootlegger George Remus. In the midst of their struggle to find good work, one of the brothers falls in love with a local, bar girl. Naive to the mob leaders rule of "Sin City", they also find danger ... and murder.
