The Quiet Girl Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardJuly 3, 2025This film is as quietly devastating in the same way as Aftersun. A young girl, Caít, is sent away for the Summer to live with her aunt and uncle on a dairy farm, while her alcoholic and neglectful parents get ready for the arrival of new baby. At her aunt and uncles, Caít finds something that maybe she’s never known she was missing. Catherine Clinch as Caít is so incredibly endearing that you can’t help but want to shelter her yourself. Really really loved this. It is an Irish film, though. So, consider this fair warning.
- DrinelsonMay 29, 2025Beautiful scenes, beautiful story. I feel like it could’ve been a short film but other than that, I have no complains. Be aware… it’s mostly not in English so you will have to read subtitles.
