Where to Watch The Prestige
- cyberbillpApril 4, 2025This ranks amoung the best of movies. When you are told in plain english what is going on in the movie, and yet, you know for sure it's some thing else, and then in the end, everything comes full circle and you marvel at the genius of the entire experience. What a great movie. Being a period piece and the subject matter, I always feared it was a rip off of the Houdini legend or something. But it's not. It's authentically new and clever and deeply engrossing. You can only watch it for the first time, once. So save that experience for a time when you can give it your full attention, because it's full of nuance while still being direct. It's Christopher Nolan at his best.
- darsanJune 6, 2025“the audience knows the truth, the world is simple. it’s miserable, solid all the way through. but if you could fool them, even for a second, then you could make them wonder. And then you got to see something very special.” one of the most underrated christopher nolan film out there and it was better the second time.
