The Possession of Michael King Ratings & Reviews
- ElliOctober 11, 2024A really good movie that managed to scare me despite my huge log of horror movies in my back pocket. The story and way it is shot is really effective. I love it.
- NiztradamusJuly 28, 2025Heavy reliance on jump scares that about double or tripple the volume with noises that make your ears bleed. Those are the scares in this movie. It's unoriginal, not scary at all and has some of the worst CGI I have seen since the 2000s. If you like jump scares, this might be worth a watch but for anyone with half a sense for good horror, this is a solid skip.
- Kula EllisonFebruary 5, 2025Nice and Scary
- Daniel GustavssonOctober 11, 2024Creepy stuff. Well made too.
- bumbr2May 30, 2025TOP NOTCH.. I've just watched this one over the weekend on Blu-ray and it's still one of the best possession movies in the last 20 years... PEACE ✌️
- jackmeatJanuary 23, 2025My quick rating - 5.9/10. I typically don't like these first person cam flix, but this one was well done and had a purpose for the shaky POV. When a skeptical and grieving husband decides to find out what this supernatural mumbo jumbo is about, he invites all kinds of methods of demonic spirits into his life. As expected, instead of deunking the myths, he becomes possessed. For an indie flick, this one has the acting, editing, etc. to hang with any major budget flick. Very impressive for what they had to work with and I recommend it to anyone who thinks like me and are sick of the "Blair Witch" ripoffs.
