- pah5532026年1月17日The Place Beyond the Pines (2012) is one I’ve been meaning to watch for ages and it certainly did not disappoint. Led by a brilliant Ryan Gosling, this moody, ambitious epic is broken into distinct parts that keep you hooked throughout. It’s a deeply thought-provoking exploration of masculinity, the desperate need to provide, and the cycles of corruption and revenge. Despite its heavy themes of self-preservation and legacy, it remains incredibly watchable and atmospheric.

The Place Beyond The Pines will entertain you with some action, a love story and the feeling of not wasting your time blindly. Put it on your watch-list and see if you don't agree that the movie and its sound track is worth the time. Small fact, Mike Patton the lead singer from Faith No More and Mr. Bungle put together the score.
- MazinEd2025年12月8日The last part seems a bit unrealistic. It’s too much of a coincidence that these kid’s lives would meet and continue on with their struggles and grudges. Great drama and interesting story but the third act went on too long and it didn’t go anywhere.
