- cultfilmlikerFebruary 19, 2026Fuck needles man lol I forget how much I relate to stories about addiction considering I ruined my life with alcohol and even sold prized albums to pay for more vodka lmfao (also hurting the people around me by doing it to myself) Reminds me of Leaving Las Vegas! Also…my (former) life! Certainly doesn’t help that Helen looks like my ex! She also kinda looks like Jessie Buckley! Then it turned into Breaking The Waves! This movie sets itself up at the speed of light! An interesting way to establish our protagonist couple’s relationship! Paul Sorvino as a john!? Hilarious. I would have probably hid during his arrest! Very authentic! And it sure doesn’t make it look glamorous! I THINK…I see the influence in Trainspotting Featured in The Cinema That Never Sleeps
