The Order Ratings & Reviews
- OdinTheRavenKingApril 27, 2026## Synopsis After the death of his mentor from suspicious circumstances, a priest finds himself looking for a fable that turns out to be true. ## Review This movie has always captured my interest. I watched it for the first time with my brother and it was probably my first introduction to Heath Ledger as well. This is easily one of his best movies following [[The Dark Knight]] very closely for me. I know that might sound crazy, but I am captivated by him in this movie. Part of it is the cast. You have the rest of the main three from [[A Knights Tale]] which is one of my favorite movies. I firmly believe that because of their time on the movie, you can see the chemistry in their friendship and love in this movie. The story is absolutely compelling. There is a ton of mystery about what is in the Vatican Archives and that has spawned parts of the [[Assassin's Creed Series]], [[Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade]], and [[The Davinci Code]]. The idea of a Sin Eater would for sure make the church upset and scared. ## [My Rating] What kills this movie is the CGI and the lack of depth. The story is intriguing, but it is missing so much additional information that I am constantly waiting for more to be explained. It is about 30 minutes too short. The CGI I think is a complete rip off of [[The Matrix]] as the sin looks just like the machines that attack Zion. This is still an 8 for me. ## [Parental Rating] Sex, demons, the anti-pope. Not a chance either of my parents would watch this. Add in the suicides and you will for sure get them running for the hills. Rejected by both.
