Amidst all this, Shusui, along with Osode and his servant, Sasao Yoshinari (Sakai Masasho), sets foot on Hachijo Island and meets Tsunayoshi's son, Kotaro (Yamamoto Yoichi), who was born to Osode's mother. But then a group of ninjas attacks.
