The Monster of Highgate Ponds
Directed by Alberto CavalcantiWith a low budget and aimed at a young audience, perfectly able to make up with their imagination for the monster's material shortcomings, it should be enjoyable for its intended audience. Well directed, with hints of classic comedy, the pair of characters who play the villains role are an antecedent of those who later should appear in some blockbuster films.
