Near the end of the Korean War, a platoon of U.S. soldiers is captured by communists and brainwashed. Following the war, the platoon is returned home, and Sergeant Raymond Shaw is lauded as a hero by the rest of his platoon. However, the platoon commander, Captain Bennett Marco, finds himself plagued by strange nightmares and soon races to uncover a terrible plot.

    Loved the cinematography in this thriller. Sinatra does a bang up job. Parrish is a smoke show. Unpredictable.

    Classic film from the Cold War era featuring Frank Sinatra in one of his best roles. In addition, Angela Landsbury gives perhaps the performance of her lifetime and that is saying a lot for an actress with her resume. If you are a classic film buff and you haven't seen this movie, what are you waiting for?
