The Last Thanksgiving Ratings & Reviews

My quick rating - 3.4/10. It'll be the "last" time I watch this movie, that much they have correct. Just your basic slasher with a family that is all good with cannibalism and hunts around for their victims for dinner. The acting is horrendous, not like this poster would have you thinking much more. The whole premise relies on the shock value of the eating people thing which is a really weak story to bank on. The good news is if you still feel the need to check this out, it is only 72 minutes. About 70 minutes of pointless film, setting up maybe the other 2 minutes of anything worth viewing. One of the killers was pretty kewl looking. The mask that is.

The Last Thanksgiving's humor and aesthetics are pitch perfect for a self-consciously goofy slasher throwback, but the humor undercuts its valid point about the true nature of Thanksgiving.

...an enthusiastic shoestring holiday horror...

Even if the filmmaking is a bit messy at times, The Last Thanksgiving is still a worthy entry into the sparse pantheon of Thanksgiving-themed horror...
