- Yashika Rajput6d agoIt was the middle of the night when my cousin and I were just scrolling, looking for something random to watch — something light to enjoy our time. That’s when we stumbled across The Kissing Booth. I didn’t expect much going into it, especially since I hadn’t heard anything about it before. Then came Lee and Noah. Right from the beginning, it was clear that Elle had a soft corner for Noah, but she was best friends with Lee — Noah’s brother. So yes, it had that best friend’s brother kind of romance going on. To be honest, I didn’t really like Noah at first. I actually enjoyed Elle and Lee’s bond way more. They were fun, natural, and just so easy to like together. For a moment, I even hoped it would turn into a love triangle where Lee secretly had feelings for Elle and she’d have to choose. And honestly, I was rooting for Lee. But things shifted once the kissing booth happened — and Lee started dating someone else. That’s when it became clear that his feelings for Elle were purely platonic. Surprisingly, that’s also when I started finding Noah more interesting. Out of nowhere, he began showing interest in Elle, and suddenly, his protectiveness and quiet presence started to feel... attractive. He was always there for her, no matter what, and that made him stand out. Somewhere deep down, I could tell this was probably written by a teen girl — and I loved that. It had that dreamy, chaotic, heart-flutter kind of vibe. It wasn’t perfect, but it was relatable, and that’s what made it charming. The ending, with Noah leaving for another country, added a little twist. I was happy for Elle and Noah, but it left me feeling just a bit incomplete. Overall, the movie was fun and worth a one-time watch. I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite, but it was definitely a sweet, light-hearted teen romance — the kind you enjoy on a cozy night with snacks and zero expectations.
