I have no idea what this movie was about. No lore, no story, nothing but a dude in a mask with demon powers

Wow, this was bad. Not enough kills, and the few they had were pretty ho hum, and not very creative. I didn't want a movie about father-daughter angst, I wanted a horror film, and I didn't get it. Meh.

An original take with a low budget. Shows what creativity and passion can do. It is fun… has some good elevation. Are there issues. Yep. The acting is barely acting. The quality of the film is a bit questionable but the story, effects and fun factor all hit the mark.

The Jester had an interesting concept at its core, but unfortunately the execution left a lot to be desired. The story setup had potential, but the pacing felt uneven and the atmosphere never fully captured the tension it was aiming for. The acting ranged from passable to unconvincing, with several performances pulling me out of the experience rather than drawing me in. Visually, a few of the effects and CGI moments were handled decently, which shows that some effort was put into the production despite what was clearly a limited budget. However, other scenes felt rushed or underdeveloped, lacking the polish and cinematic artistry that could have elevated the film beyond its shortcomings. Overall, The Jester shows flashes of creativity but struggles to land as a complete and engaging film. With stronger directing, tighter editing, and more refined performances, this could have been a unique indie horror entry. Instead, it comes across as more of a missed opportunity.

Nonsensical, poorly thought-out piece of crap. Written seemingly by someone who has never actually read a story or seen a movie, instead just stringing together a bunch of effect ideas (some of which were very poorly executed) that they thought were 'nifty'.
