- Megan CruzJune 30, 2025Rewatched for the first time in decades & I will never not love this movie. It’s incredibly of its time, packed with cliches, & silly as hell & I love every second of it.

- ርልዪረJanuary 30, 2025⛐This was quite a surprise, I had heard of the original, and this film more recently but not how good it is! I have not seen the original but this is NOT a remake!! It may have a similar storyline about a heist of gold and feature Minis but that's all they have in common. This has great action scenes, stunts, great cast and the new Mini Cooper S. Right from the start it opens with a great speedboat chase in Venice and the action never lets up. Some of the scenes with the Minis in LA are great too! Starring an all star cast including Donald Sutherland, Edward Norton, Jason Statham and the beautiful Charlize Theron. They are are all well cast and Charlize Theron is more than just eye candy and proves more than able to put a Mini through it's paces! This is a great fun, enjoyable film and is as good as Ocean's Eleven but with more action. Highly recommend it to action and heist film fans, this is a cool movie. The blu ray has plenty of extras. An 18 minute making of with a chat with the main actors and director, with a brief look at scenes from the original. There are 6 minute features on the driving school for the cast. A look at the new Mini Cooper S used in the film. An 8 minute look at the stunts and action scenes. Also 6 deleted scenes and an easy to find easter egg on the special features menu which shows a gag reel for one of the scenes! Overall a great film, lots of action, good casting, the beautiful Charlize Theron and plenty of quality extras!! 9/10
- Barry BresslerMarch 25, 2026Love this movie!
- munk888March 1, 2026It's aged fairly well. A classic now.
- Matt KellyJanuary 12, 2026I've had the pleasure of watching a lot of action films, but The Italian Job (2003) is in a league of its own. This film is pure, unadulterated fun, an exhilarating blend of slick heists, charismatic performances, and some of the best car chases ever committed to film. It is, without a doubt, one of my favorite movies of all time and a perfect pick for a rewatch anytime I need a guaranteed good time. The film's strength lies in its incredible ensemble cast. Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, Mos Def, and a perfectly smarmy Edward Norton are all brilliant, forming a team that is both stylish and genuinely likable. The chemistry between them is palpable, making their mission to recover their gold from a double-crossing former associate one that you genuinely root for from start to finish. But let's talk about the real stars: the Mini Coopers. The action sequences involving these iconic cars weaving through the streets, subways, and canals of Venice and Los Angeles are cinematic gold. They are incredibly well-choreographed, thrilling, and executed with a playful energy that perfectly matches the tone of the movie. The final heist is a masterclass in action filmmaking, delivering tension, excitement, and a satisfying conclusion that will leave you smiling. The Italian Job is a movie that knows exactly what it is and excels at it. It's not trying to be a deep, thought-provoking drama; it's a slick, entertaining, and brilliantly executed caper that delivers on every promise. The script is sharp, the pacing is perfect, the soundtrack is great, and the whole package is just a joy to behold. If you haven't seen it, you are seriously missing out on a modern classic. Go watch it now—you can thank me later!
- JakeysDecember 30, 2025Some of the acting is pretty bad, the story gets a bit cheesy, it hasn't aged the best, but man it's a lot of fun still. Plus, Edward Norton didn't want to be in it and I think that elevates his performance funny enough. I'm gonna give this a very generous four stars.
- Gianni CavuotoSeptember 27, 2025A fun romp thought a time warp with this reboot movie. They change up the storyline quite a bit but it works to modernize the heist as much as BMW modernized the Mini. The car chase is great and the action keeps the movie motivated forward. It's a great time but if you haven't had a chance take a step backwards and watch the original. It may surprise you how well it was done.
- mickerdooJuly 25, 2025Very charismatic. Just the right amount of star power. Exciting and inventive chases and heists (in the spirit of the original). Fun watch.
- Mrvann70July 24, 2025Pretty good movie
- moprJuly 5, 2025Fun to watch!

- gmrxboxOctober 15, 2024I've probably seen this movie 10-15 times, just from all the times it reaired on TNT. Mark Wahlberg. Charlize Theron. Edward Norton as just the douchiest villain. And the goddamn Mini Cooper, which truly shows range and versatility previously unseen in a car. This movie is just a damn good time and will evoke strong feelings of early-aughts nostalgia (anyone remember Pepsi Blue?). Not to mention the climactic battle is Mini Cooper versus Helicopter. What else do I need to say?
