This was a really fun action movie. Affleck and Damon are really likable leads, and the supporting cast are brilliant, Chau, Perlman, Rhames, Molina, great fun to watch. It clicks along at a perfect pace, which I guess Liman does so well!

The movie was good and definitely something you can watch for laid back evening. I liked the humor was not hilarious and I would have preferred a faster paced-action movie. But overall, it's not a bad movie.

I’m a long time fan of Damon and I was looking forward to seeing him in a Boston crime “thriller.” Hong Chau is easily the best part of this with most of the best comedic lines and the only role that elevates the film slightly above generic. Enjoyable enough.

"The Instigators" is an offbeat buddy heist movie packed with eccentric characters. I appreciated the deliberate absence of emotion in its most stressful scenes, which unexpectedly enhanced its appeal. Although it was over the top, and they spent considerable time justifying this approach in the story, I enjoyed it.

They should have spent more on marketing. This movie was really good. It was really worth the time. It was rerefreshing departure from the garbage Hollywood puts out now days.
