- Junior Reyes11h agoAs someone who actually knows how trucks work, The Ice Road is an unbearable watch. It is hands down one of the worst movies Liam Neeson has ever made. The first 12 minutes make absolutely no sense, and from there, the entire film just spirals into a never-ending chain of technical lies and pure nonsense. Hollywood tried to create a high-stakes survival story, but instead, they packed it with ridiculous physics and mechanical impossibilities that any real driver or mechanic would immediately spot. You just can't take any of the action seriously when the movie insults your intelligence at every turn. It is incredibly disappointing to see a great actor like Neeson attached to a script this poorly written and unrealistic. 1/5 Stars. A total joke. If you know anything about heavy equipment or driving, avoid this absolute disaster. Pure fiction and bad CGI.

The action lacks tension, the dialogue feels stiff, and the overall execution never quite delivers the suspense or emotional punch it aims for. Watchable in the background, but far from memorable.
