    I am a fan of the world that Tolkien created. It was a great experience being transported to Middle Earth and journeying to the Lonely Mountain. The music and visuals were great, making each scene fun to watch.

    The first of the Hobbit trilogy, and really the first in historical order for the Hobbit and LOTR series. I recently watched the entire six movies in a row, starting with this one, and I'm watching all of the extended versions this time around. This was a great starting point, since the LOTR trilogy simply continues the story from where the Hobbit series ends. I love all of these movies and the characters/stories, so it's hard for me grade any of them below 5 stars. I've always loved the books since I was a child, and now I love these movies too. 👍🧙🏼‍♂️
