Where to Watch The Guest
- Liam19h agoIt was alright.
- SirMonkalot1d agoThis was cool, Dan Stevens and Maika Monroe were both excellent! Wasn’t a huge fan of a lot of the supporting actors, especially the mom and dad, they ruined it a bit for me. Also found it dragged a bit and could have been a bit shorter. Loved that it takes place during Halloween 🎃
- Der FokkenflingersSeptember 8, 2026Subverted expectations in the best way.
- Doc WormSeptember 1, 2026A fun watch from beginning to end! Visually distinct with some great lighting and stylistic set pieces. Dan Steven’s is a riot to watch as the psychopathic titular Guest. The rest of the cast, sans the late great Lance Reddick, leaves a bit to be wanted. Oscillating between action and horror, it’s an excellent send up to 80s video greats. Tonally it does a great job handling both even if the pacing is a bit uneven. Theres huge leaps in logic for some of the characters but I found it forgivable given this isn’t a particularly deep film. Ending is a little weak, buts a riot getting there. A PHENOMENAL soundtrack filled with classic goth and synth tracks.
- howdysAugust 10, 2026It's a cool watch. Like "Mikey" and "Fear" combined and updated for today's generation. I enjoyed it.
- poorogueMay 3, 2026The first 2/3-3/4 of this movie was actually decent. The "action" portion and ending were a damn joke. Completely ruined any goodwill they built through the movie. Absolutely terrible. Do not recommend. Inconsistencies were screamingly loud.
- Spyder2020April 26, 2026Not much of a story but decent acting and action
- Sandra ScothernAugust 7, 2025Best film I have seen in a long time and Dan Stevens is so gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️ love it love it love it 🤩❤️🤩
- Joe OsAugust 17, 2025Title doesn't do it justice, proper old school nutter movie ,4/5 and that's only because the music is crap or it would be 5/5
- Marcelo ScatenaAugust 2, 2025Stevens is great, but that's about it. The movie has a made for tv feel that really didn't work for it. The initial mystery doesn't hold up due to most of the characters being super plain, and the action being lackluster.
