- VarunJanuary 8, 2025I really liked the cinematography but the comedy wasn’t special, there were very few gags that I found funny but the rest is pretty mild. Chaplin also takes his first L for kicking a dog during the dance scene. I also didn’t find the story engaging. The movie still has charm though, the music is really good and the snowy vistas have a transportive quality. And I appreciate the effort that went into the gags, especially the balancing cabin at the end. A well directed movie that unfortunately didn’t capture me.
