THIS MOVIE IS A BEST PICTURE AT THE OSCAR THE 1974 WINNER.
- Reuben2025年6月29日Loved it when I was younger but now I think Vito Corleone's back story mostly holds the movie back and muddles the pacing. I would've liked just Michael's story, maybe with some flashbacks as neccessary to the story, but not as much. I think they knew they had no chance of topping the original and added two stories in one to make it appear more grander than they would if either story was shown on it's own. Vito's story would've worked really well as a TV mini series or something (I know: impossible for the times).
