- FranBiz22 de julho de 2025The biggest problem I have with this movie is that it's marketed as a horror movie, but it's not. If you watch the trailer, the movie makes it look like there's something evil about the grandmother, but she's not. She's just old and annoying. This is just a family drama film with lots of urine and poop scenes. The movie does still have some horror elements, but it's like 10% of the movie. I think the movie was trying to mimic the success of Get Out, but it fails. If I were to compare this movie, it would be more similar to The Deliverance (2024), but even that movie had horror elements like demonic possession in it. This movie doesn't. This movie is just a family drama about an interracial couple dealing with a granny that doesn't approve of many of the couple's choices. That's all I will spoil one part of the trailer. There's a part in the trailer where it looks like the granny is going to unleash something evil. The trailer than blacks out to the title. You want to know what she unleashed that is so evil that couldn't be shown in the trailer? A fart. Don't be fool with this movie. It's not a horror flick.

She ABSOLUTELY carried an otherwise un remarkable movie with mediocre acting. I can’t say enough about her singular performance.
