Cool, another good Michael J. Fox movie. A mix of soft horror and comedy all into one great movie. You can see who the bad guys are and they get theirs in the end. Loving it...

The Frighteners is a fun comedy, action, horror. Michael J Fox brings the energy. Yes, he is a charlatan, taking advantage of his ability to communicate with the dead. However, when he comes across something odd he tries to donthe right thing, even when it causes more trouble for himself. This movie was supposed to be a Tales From The Crypt movie and took on a life of its own. That much is obvious when the story gets rolling. You'll laugh and cheer for the hero to save the day.

First saw this movie in elementary school. Rewatched it and it's still kicks ass. Even though the CGI shows its age on some parts, it holds up extremely well. The actors that play the antagonists are so god damn creepy that any time I see them in any other films, it's hard to shake the image of the absolute psychopaths they play in this movie. It's fun, scary, weird and makes me wish we got more Michael J Fox (damn you Parkinson's)

This movie is a total hidden gem—funny, a little creepy, and full of that weird charm that lingers. The visuals are inventive, the pacing never drags, and the humor lands just right. Definitely one of those films that’s way more memorable than most give it credit for. It’s a cult classic for a reason, and honestly, highly underrated—once you watch it, it sticks with you in the best way.

All I can say is that Jeffery Combs is what makes this film so good. Always an amazingly quirky performance.

This was an interesting take on your typical ghost haunting movie. It seems like this was a crossover between Ghostbusters and the Six Sense. This movie also had a very interesting take on special effects, which were quite effective at that time.

Eh... kind of all over the place but enjoyable zaniness nonetheless.
