- GBWestNovember 1, 2025The Frighteners is a fun comedy, action, horror. Michael J Fox brings the energy. Yes, he is a charlatan, taking advantage of his ability to communicate with the dead. However, when he comes across something odd he tries to donthe right thing, even when it causes more trouble for himself. This movie was supposed to be a Tales From The Crypt movie and took on a life of its own. That much is obvious when the story gets rolling. You'll laugh and cheer for the hero to save the day.
- Jean SeanMay 3, 2026First saw this movie in elementary school. Rewatched it and it's still kicks ass. Even though the CGI shows its age on some parts, it holds up extremely well. The actors that play the antagonists are so god damn creepy that any time I see them in any other films, it's hard to shake the image of the absolute psychopaths they play in this movie. It's fun, scary, weird and makes me wish we got more Michael J Fox (damn you Parkinson's)
