- StationManagerDaveNelsonJanuary 7, 2026During a staff meeting Milos, the janitor, suggested I watch this film. Now, I'm a big fan of John Carpenter. However, The Fog just didn't "get me there." It takes almost 70% of the way through for anything to really happen. Pretty big bummer considering Debra Hill (producer/writer on this film) is partially responsible for one of my favorite movies of all time (The Warriors [1977]). I ended up firing Milos, the janitor, for recommending this boring movie.
- Louis AlexanderAugust 4, 2025John Carpenter's the fog is a chilling and eerie old school horror movie with a score to match. One of the things I love about John Carpenter's movies is the score. It really sets the tone. This is definitely in my top horror movie list. I had a crush on Adrienne Barbeau way back in the day. It's also nice to see Jamie Lee Curtis and her mom Janet Leigh in the same movie 🙂
