- PhysicalMedia4Life5d agoWhat I love about The Edge is, that it has a blend of 3 different genres in it; action/thriller/adventure all in one movie. It also has a storyline brewing underneath the main plot of the film. The Edge has a lot of meat on the bone. The picturesque setting of the remote wilderness, also adds to the movies whole feeling of isolation & vulnerability. And the performance from Bart the bear, is one of if not the best performance from an animal that I've ever seen onscreen in a movie. He's scary and that gib he does, always makes me laugh at the same time, I'm not going to lie. Bart your a legend!! He starred in a number of movies throughout his life and this one is my absolute favourite of Barts filmography. Also the movie is shot & paced wonderfully. Anthony Hopkins & Alec Baldwin work brilliantly together, they have great back & forths throughout the entire time there onscreen together. The climax is thrilling, The Edge has it all, its just an absolute gripping thrill ride of a film. It really has that cutting edge about it. My Ratings/Scores for The Edge are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10 love it.
