- Kevin WardJune 30, 2025The Dentist 2 drills even deeper than the original, doubling down on the oral mayhem and pushing mouth horror to molar-clenching extremes. Corbin Bernsen returns as the utterly unhinged Dr. Alan Feinstone, now escaped from an institution and practicing under the name Dr. Caine in a suspiciously trusting small town. There’s a pulp pleasure in watching dental instruments weaponized with to create full-blown periodontal panic attack. The sound design alone—the clacking of metal instruments against teeth is usually enough to give me goosebumps. Not essential viewing, but if you’ve got a sweet tooth for nasty ‘90s horror sequels, this one bites in all the right ways.
