The Damned United
Directed by Tom HooperTaking over England's top football club Leeds United, previously successful manager Brian Clough's abrasive approach and his clear dislike of the players' dirty style of play make it certain there is going to be friction. Glimpses of his earlier career help explain both his hostility to previous manager Don Revie and how much he is missing right-hand man Peter Taylor who has loyally stayed with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Damned United Ratings & Reviews
- Duncan Mullier15 mars 2026A film to be watched over and over. Charisma in Brian Clough form.
- Jamie Talbot27 april 2025Sheen did an incredible job of playing Clough. He was spot on with the way he acted and conducted interviews in the film. Although there isn’t much footballing action towards the end of the film, it’s still super enjoyable diving deeper into Clough’s life and his mistakes. This is a must watch for any footballing fan!
