The Cuckoo Family
Directed by Hans Deppe18-year-old Inge Kuckert has to support herself and her younger siblings in post-war Berlin. Not an easy task, because nobody wants the "Cuckoo Gang". In Grunewald they find a destroyed villa that seems suitable as a new home. Everyone works with great enthusiasm to repair the bombed-out house. But then Mr. Schulz - the "authorized person" - comes on the scene and doesn't want to let them have their new home. But help is already at hand.
