The Convent Ratings & Reviews
- jackmeatSeptember 7, 2025My quick rating - 5.4/10. This one didn't look familiar at all, so time to check it out. Nuns getting assaulted with a baseball bat and blown away by a shotgun to start off. Seems promising. Wonder if that scene had something to do with the lack of marketing, LOL. The fast-forward cam shots are getting way overused. Partially for comic relief and partly to hide the effects, but completely getting annoying. Even though this one was shot like a music video at times, and the camera work does get monotonous, I actually enjoyed this one for what it was worth. Much more of a silly homage to the 80s horror flix where it doesn't slow down for a moment with everything that is going on.
