The Cold Light of Day Ratings & Reviews
- jackmeatApril 18, 2025My quick rating - 4.5/10. I was expecting bad, but not so much. Still not a very good movie, which takes some serious names and insults them with a half-written script and utterly pointless "twists" that were neither needed nor fooled anyone. Bruce has little to do with this one, and there was no saving it, even if the ultra-talented Sigourney Weaver stuck her way out through the whole thing. Cavill was just hitting his stride, so I suppose his appearing in this is excusable, but still. At least have a story in hand that isn't a made-for-TV movie mash with every political conspiracy jammed into a briefcase. The action wasn't too bad, and the scenery was nice to look at, so it does get some points here and there. Still not as bad as the box office reflected.
