The Bikeriders Ratings & Reviews
- TanalienNovember 2, 2024Jeff Nichols makes things in movies that are very difficult to do seem easy. In a film that feels so airy and exploratory at times, The Bikeriders makes every moment in the story essential to its telling. Events that seem irrelevant tend to circle back – in a meaningful way. In a sense, the film seems constructed to deliver a common refrain in a refreshing manner: Never judge a book by its cover.

- martin.575July 17, 2025It was « OK », nothing exceptional stood out; acting was good, story was good… just didn’t feel like a movie I’d see in cinema. Glad I didn’t!
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Liked it, but didn’t love it if only because it’s not really my thing. Jeff Nichols clearly has a lot of reverence for subject and it permeates nearly every frame. The entire ensemble is impeccably cast. Wished there had been more Michael Shannon, he was probably my favorite. Hangout, slice of life, but one that didn’t really move me.
- The Gutter MonkeyMarch 4, 2025A cool and interesting movie that made me reminiscent of the many rebellious, Scorsese-esque '90s films I used to love growing up.
- 匚卂尺ㄥMarch 4, 2025Tom Hardy does his best Marlon Brando impression in this story charting the rise & fall of a motorcycle gang in 50's America. Good cast but the script leave a lot to be desired in my humble opinion. For me, the bikes were the star of the show.
- burtjohansonFebruary 5, 2025A beautifully shot and executed film - Butler and Hardy’s characters feel so relatable and the loyalty and camaraderie amongst the Vandals is a joy to watch.
- RyezooFebruary 4, 2025The actors were awesome. The setting and vibe were great and I enjoyed watching this movie. I know it’s based off a true story so there’s no changing on how that third act goes down but man do I wish it just went a little different because this is almost a great movie.
- Luke EricksonSeptember 10, 2024I really wanted to like this movie because their cast is so good. I had no idea they could mess this up so bad, but they did it. The whole thing was all over the place with no cohesive story and just random events playing out. I also hated Jodie Comer's accent the whole movie. I don't think that helped. She still does a great job but the accent made me hate her character when I think I was supposed to like her.
