On paper it's a fairly simple story but it's one weaved in such a way that forces the exploration of many unfortunate and sad contradictions. It feels like the kind of film that lodges itself deep in the back of your mind and years, perhaps even decades later it'll pop out and surprise you with some belated lesson. With that said, the actual watch is also enjoyable with grounded, believable performances and playfully balanced direction. Summary; film be good, go watch.

The great, naturalistic performances grab your attention and make you unable to take your eyes off the screen. The story of Antoine just trying to do good in the face of inconsiderate adults is truly heartbreaking.
