I don't know why I love you but I do. It's crap, the actors are having fun (but I'm sure where on the phone between takes trying to book their next project) and Ice couldn't act yet. But fun! Check out Busey trying to do a Tarantino-like monologue. Lol.

An obvious retelling of Richard Connell's 1924 short story "The Most Dangerous Game", that's been copied and retold several if not numerous times over the last 100 yrears. I loved Connell's story when I read it in high school and I can't help but love this movie. These might not be top tier actors in some peoples books but i feel like these actors were chosen carefully to fill their rolls. They all did a fine job and this is a fun movie to watch from start to finish.

Better than expected, thanks to the great cast: Rutger Hauer, Gary Busey, Charles Dutton, F Murray Abraham, John McGinley, and a young William McNamara. Looks like they all had a great time making the film, and to the Director's credit they didn't take the movie too seriously. Ice-T usually only plays one role - the angry grimacing gangsta. Here, he tried his hand as an action anti-hero. He generally did okay, and his acting improved as he really had to dig deep in some of his dialogues. All in all, a cheesy and predictable but still entertaining typical 90s movie.
