Steve Jobs Ratings & Reviews
- romandini3May 13, 2025"Bunch of intelligent people delivering arguments at superhigh pace" is how I would describe this film. It's fascinating to listen to if you are into stories that are told verbally rather than visually.
- Hoàng Thiên NguyễnJune 21, 2025not the best film ive ever seen but the surroundest biography film ive ever seen
- Jamie TalbotMay 16, 2025Every line in the script has been so carefully thought out. There’s so many different lines you can quote which hit deeply. The acting as a whole in the film was superb however Fassbender’s performance was a standout and he played the part of Jobs extremely well. Whilst the movie shows the Steve Jobs we all know, it also goes into his personal life and his struggles with emotional connecting with people which I really liked as it’s something that many people haven’t known about.
- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025Just as amazing as I remember it. This script is amazing. Love the score and cinematography and the performances all hit out of the park! I love this so much
- Manuel FrangisFebruary 2, 2025I just watched Steve Jobs from 2015 and it is an easy 5 out of 5 stars for me. I love Apple and Steve Jobs so this movie was a must watch and it absolutely delivered. This is not just another standard biopic. It is a fast paced intense and brilliantly acted look into the mind of one of the most influential figures in modern technology. The movie is structured in a way that sets it apart from other biopics. Instead of following the typical birth to success formula it focuses on three major product launches in Jobs’ career. Each section plays out in real time showing the high pressure moments behind the scenes before he steps on stage. This unique approach keeps the story moving at a thrilling pace and makes every conversation feel urgent and important. Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs is phenomenal. He does not try to imitate Jobs perfectly but he captures his intensity ambition and genius in a way that feels completely authentic. Every scene he is in is gripping and his presence commands attention. Whether he is arguing with his colleagues making impossible demands or delivering one of his legendary speeches Fassbender nails every moment. This is one of the best performances of his career. The supporting cast is just as strong. Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman is outstanding playing the one person who can truly challenge Jobs and keep him grounded. Her performance adds a much needed emotional balance to the movie. Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak is another highlight. He brings depth and emotion to Woz making his interactions with Jobs some of the most powerful moments in the film. Jeff Daniels as John Sculley also stands out portraying the complicated relationship between Jobs and the former Apple CEO. One of the best things about this movie is its sharp and intelligent dialogue. Written by Aaron Sorkin the script is fast witty and packed with tension. Every conversation feels like a verbal battle and the back and forth exchanges are incredibly engaging. The dialogue alone makes this movie worth watching. The cinematography and direction are top notch. Danny Boyle’s direction keeps the movie visually interesting despite most of it taking place in small backstage environments. The way each era is filmed differently using 16mm for the early years 35mm for the middle and digital for the later years adds a unique visual touch that subtly reflects the changes in technology over time. The movie does not try to sugarcoat Jobs’ personality. It shows him as a visionary but also as a flawed and sometimes difficult person. It highlights his relentless drive his perfectionism and his complicated relationships with the people around him. While some moments may be dramatized the core of who Jobs was and what he stood for is captured brilliantly. For anyone who loves Apple technology or stories about ambitious visionaries this is an absolute must watch. It is not just a movie about Steve Jobs. It is a movie about innovation leadership and the cost of greatness. The intensity the performances and the storytelling make it one of the best biopics ever made. I have always loved Apple and Steve Jobs and this movie just reinforced why. It is powerful emotional and completely captivating from start to finish. One of my favorite movies and one I will definitely be rewatching.
