Steve Ratings & Reviews
- Kevin WardMarch 1, 2026I think this stretched believability a bit packing all of these issues into a single day. Would have been a perfect Leonie Benesch role if she hadn’t already done the one stressed out teacher role. But I think the complexity of issues faced is really well represented. I actually like the unique camera moves. What can I say, though? I’m a sucker for upside down shots. Compressing this all into a day certainly ramps up the tension, but I think it might have been more effective to stretch the time frame to over the course of a school year.
- Tim and KenFebruary 15, 2026Maybe I'm in the minority, given its pretty fresh tomato rating, but my Lord, this was so slow and boring. I like a good story, but it seemed like nothing was happening all movie.
- WillemDaFoeJanuary 2, 2026This movie hurt, in a nice way.
- George BananzaOctober 5, 2025Peaky headmaster.
- MlbKiwiDecember 2, 2025One word: Masterpiece.
- thomasrogers753October 3, 2025This movie reminded me a lot of another movie, Detachment, and I think it’s so important that we show teachers and there importance and impact they bring and how it’s responsible and important for those who struggle to get the help they need Pay teachers more
- W Chaz BonneyNovember 30, 2025Great movie...
- Rick MastersOctober 4, 2025Gritty, chaotic and raw in style and execution, STEVE highlights the weight on some teachers and just how truly important they are. Great performances, some wacky creative shots and a completely compelling narrative.
